Our client have saved £1000's of pounds in part production but using additive manufacture in their supply chain to replace more expensive methods of manufacture. The viability of using SLS as an alternative to injection moulding really becomes a reality with smaller items. There are no set-up fees or tooling costs, only a unit cost, so for small parts with volumes of up to 10,000 units, it’s a no-brainer. With little to no restrictions in design, the more complex the part the higher the viability as equivalent tooling cost becomes astronomical. 3DPRINTUK offers price breaks for higher quantities and free samples for production runs based on a refund of the test models up to the cost of the minimum order if a qualifying order is placed. With over 10 years experience, 3DPRINTUK have mastered the process of printing parts using both SLS and MJF technology, with no need for support material, virtually no layer lines and short turnaround times, you are guaranteed robust, accurate parts, time and time again.
