Ag.Urban — interdisciplinary, participatory, place-specific Ag.Urban develops strategies for urban spaces, new forms of housing and commerce, as well as analog and digital participation processes. The team combines urban planning, architecture, design, geography, urban studies, computer science, social sciences, and cultural sciences. Services URBAN DESIGN: urban design, strategy & consulting, corporate design and marketing. PARTICIPATION: citizen participation, workshops, design thinking, development of ephemeral structures. PARTICIPATION PROCESSES: projects within the framework of "Social City", formal & informal participation, authority participation. Working Method Ag.Urban focuses on site-specific formats, places the needs of users at the center, and combines moderation, design, and visualization to promote socially and community-oriented solutions. StorySeit 2015 in Berlin vereinen wir bei Ag.Urban verschiedene Fachrichtungen, weil wir überzeugt sind: Stadtplanung lebt vom Dialog. Als Kollektiv aus Stadtplaner:innen, Architekt:innen, Designer:innen, Geograph:innen, Informatiker:innen und Sozialwissenschaftler:innen haben wir schon viele Baustellen erlebt — fachlich und menschlich. Unsere Motivation entstand aus dem Wunsch, Beteiligung nicht als Add-on zu sehen, sondern als Herzstück guter Stadtentwicklung. Wir probieren Formate aus, moderieren Diskussionen, entwerfen Räume und visualisieren Ideen, bis sie greifbar werden. In Projekten wie dem Förderprogramm „Sozialer Zusammenhalt“ bringen wir uns auch ehrenamtlich ein. Manchmal muss man eben mehr tun, um Wandel zu ermöglichen — genau dafür stehen wir.
