ByteWave is a software house based in Gdańsk, Poland, founded in 2023 by Paweł Kapica. A core team of 2-10 people works alongside more than 50 B2B contractors, so you speak directly with the people running your project, and specialists join when the work needs them. We build web platforms and client portals, websites for companies and public institutions, Android and iOS apps, custom business systems with API integrations, and AI-based systems, from document and case flow through agents and chatbots to data analysis. Technology is chosen for each project, including React, Next.js, Astro, Laravel, Node.js, WordPress, Flutter and models from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google. For Janów Podlaski Arabian Stud we created online ticket sales and a gate-control app that works offline, and during the 2026 Pride of Poland season the system served over 1,500 orders and nearly 3,500 tickets from buyers in 9 countries. The Central Mine Rescue Station in Bytom now runs on a website, Public Information Bulletin and staff zone built by us. We moved the bulletin of the Regional Office for the Protection of Monuments in Wrocław, online since 2003, to the government gov.pl platform together with 2,465 files. Other projects include Spirits Treasure, a marketplace with auctions for rare whisky and collectible wine, and a Polish-Czech cycling map for Kudowa-Zdrój with 5 routes and 57 points of interest. Every project runs under a written contract with an agreed scope. Clients own the source code and receive the documentation, so they are not tied to us. For public institutions and EU-funded projects we test accessibility against WCAG 2.1 or 2.2 AA and confirm the result in a report. Behind us are more than 50 production deployments for clients in Poland, Germany, the Netherlands, Lithuania and Ukraine, 13 reference letters published on our website, and a 5.0 Google rating from 13 reviews. StoryPaweł Kapica founded ByteWave in Gdańsk in 2023 after years of building digital products for companies in Poland, Germany and the Netherlands. He studied computer science at Gdańsk University of Technology and looks after quality himself, from the first client conversation to final acceptance.
