From idea to object — we design and build it.
Carter Design Studio is an industrial design and fabrication studio based in Amsterdam. We guide products from initial sketch to working prototype or small series, with our own workshop for metalworking, welding and assembly. Our background combines industrial design (TU Delft, Coventry University) with hands-on fabrication experience. We don't just design, we build. We work with steel, stainless steel and aluminium, with experience in mobility, interior and custom product development. Typical projects: a startup developing and testing a physical product, a company needing a custom-made component, or a designer looking for fabrication support. We work with an NDA when required and follow a structured process from briefing to delivery. Based near Amsterdam, available for projects throughout the Netherlands.
