In many ways, 2016 marks the start of a new era for Carter Wong with the retirement of founding partner, Phil Wong at the end of 2015. His presence will be greatly missed, by the team and clients alike providing a new set of challenges for all. With the business now being led by the partnership of Phil Carter and Sarah Turner, Phil Carter continues his key role as head of the creative team, ensuring the highest of creative standards are met in all our work, whilst as Managing Director, Sarah Turner continues to support client relationships, new business and the day to running of the agency.We continued to maintain and build relationships with our core client base, such as Unilever, Lloyds of London and VTTI, whilst growing the business along the way, with the key addition of English Heritage this year, gaining one of the 3 places available on their roster for the next 3 years. Nomadic Dairy continues to go from strength to strength with new products being launched early in 2016.In February we will collect our DBA Design Effectiveness Award for our branding of Atlantika a B2C brand, created from commercial fishing operator Ocean Trawlers.Our Black Sheep awards continue to gain recognition in the student world with this year’s expansion to include both Norwich University of the Arts and Falmouth University. Finally, our Pause for Thought series of salon events continues with some great speakers and industry innovators lined up for 2016.
