CodigoDelSur is a software development company based in Montevideo, Uruguay, building web and mobile products since 2007 for companies in the United States and around the world. We work in three ways. IT staff augmentation, where our engineers join your existing team and work inside your process. Dedicated teams that own a product or a workstream end to end. And full product development, taking an idea from discovery through design, engineering and launch. Since 2007 we have built products for more than 250 clients, from seed-stage startups to public companies, and the products we built have reached more than 300 million users. Our work includes Grubhub, Shutterfly, DroneDeploy, MoviePass, Skout, Help Scout, Leadpages and Emeritus. What makes the engagement work is that we are not only engineers. Every role needed to ship a product lives in house: product discovery, UI/UX design, mobile and web engineering, machine learning and QA. Clients also get help with usability, growth, engagement and monetization, which matters as much as the code when you are building something new. Nothing stalls waiting on a third party. Our engagements are measured in years rather than sprints. One client team ran for four years and grew from a handful of engineers to fifteen. That continuity is the point: clients keep the same people instead of restarting with every contract. Our first client, from 2007, is still a client today. Our deepest track record is in agriculture and agtech, fintech, education, healthcare, and drones and geospatial. In 2021 the lifestyle app Outfitted won a Vega Digital Centauri Award. Our team of 140 works hours that overlap the North American business day, so standups happen at your hour and not overnight, and decisions land the same day instead of the next one. Rates range from $50 to $99 per hour depending on role and seniority, and engagements start at $10,000, which covers one engineer for one month.
