StoryWij begonnen Filmmacht in 2014 in Alkmaar met één eenvoudig verlangen: de wereld blijven herinneren aan hoe mooi mensen zijn. Elke opdracht beginnen we als onderzoekers, op zoek naar dat ene, onverwachte verhaal dat écht raakt. Soms betekent dat vroeg opstaan voor een intiem moment, soms keuzes maken in lastige omstandigheden om de juiste sfeer vast te leggen. We werken kleinschalig maar gedreven: onze beeldkeuzes en montage dienen altijd één doel — impact creëren. Voor ons is het niet alleen film maken; het is aandacht geven aan menselijke waardigheid en nuance. Dat voortdurende zoeken, luisteren en verbeelden houdt ons scherp en geeft betekenis aan elk project dat we aannemen.
