StoryWe founded Hörmann Digital in Munich in 2019 because we saw small and medium-sized industrial companies—the Mittelstand—struggling to turn machine data into business value. Our team blends Industrial IoT engineering and machine learning expertise to bridge old factory floors with modern analytics. Early on we spent long days on shop floors, wiring sensors to legacy equipment and tuning models by hand; those hands-on problems taught us to build pragmatic, scalable solutions rather than flashy prototypes. Today we still favor short feedback loops with production teams: quick pilots, measurable KPIs, and iterative rollouts that make digitalization tangible for operators.
