Iris Edge Studios is an independent game studio based in Portugal, specialising in Unity development for mobile games. We work with studios, publishers and teams that need a hands-on development partner to build a game from the ground up, extend an existing Unity project, port it to new platforms, or get a nearly finished game through the final stages of production and release. Our work covers gameplay systems, runtime UI, save and progression systems, localisation, optimisation, backend and service integrations, build pipelines, store compliance, publishing and launch support. Engagements can range from solving a specific technical problem or developing a defined feature to co-development and full-cycle game production. Because we also design, develop and publish our own games, we understand the less visible work involved in actually shipping: scope management, testing, platform requirements, privacy, store configuration, release preparation and post-launch support. Iris Edge Studios intentionally stays small and direct. Clients work with the person doing the development rather than through layers of account management, allowing for clear communication, fast technical decisions and ownership of the work from development through delivery. 1 person in their team

Description Iris Edge Studios provides hands-on Unity game development for mobile projects, from focused feature work to full production. We can join an existing project for co-development, gameplay systems, UI, save systems, optimisation, localisation, backend integration, porting or final-stage shipping support. We work in small, clearly defined milestones, with direct communication and practical technical ownership throughout the project. For full productions, we can take a game from prototype through development, testing, store preparation and launch.
