This agency profile and details are managed by the agency owner.

Lighthouse is a UX and UI design studio with a product focus. We help businesses bring new digital products to market and breathe new life into underperforming applications.

Our main services are

Idea to launch

Aimed at funded startups or established businesses this is for people wanting to bring a new MVP to market. Our process has come from helping many people define and launch products over the past 10 years and we like to act as an extension to the product team through the process to getting something launched.

After the MVP is out in the wild we often stay on to provide support, add new features and help guide the business until it replaces us with in-house teams.

We can do any of the following

  • Idea generation for those who don’t even have an idea
  • Idea validation for ideas that need testing
  • Scoping and planning / UX
  • Design
  • Development
  • Post-launch steering

Product makeover

This is aimed at an existing digital product that requires UX and UI assistance. This product may well be fairly established with steady revenue and a large user base. It usually has in-house dev but little or no UX or UI resource.

Usually this lack of resource leads to the product being ugly or hard to use. New competitors in the market might have appeared that are better designed and easier to use or there are now significant usability issues that are hampering the growth of the business.

We usually come on board to

  • Discover the biggest pain points for users
  • Design UX solutions
  • Create a new visual language
  • Handover to tech team for implementation

What was the objective behind your collaboration?
Our digital presence was in need of some work to better represent the company as a whole. The previous version of our website didn't represent everything we'd achieved over the past 20 years and wasn't as usable as we wanted. We felt updates to the UX and design were long overdue. We were also keen to find an agency who could help us out with broader digital strategies going forward.
What did you enjoy the most during your collaboration?
We're really impressed with the way they grasped what we wanted and translated it into high quality design. We've had positive feedback already and are looking forward to planning our next phase with them.

I'm a founding partner and CMO of an architecture and design studio working on housing, hospitality, and community projects. We needed an overhaul of our old website, as it wasn't effective and was letting the business down. It wasn't responsive, user-friendly, or easy to navigate. We had an idea of how we wanted our new site to look, but we needed an experienced partner to deliver our vision, along with ongoing support after launch. We wanted a dynamic and visually appealing website that would show off our work and impress our future clients. It also needed a stable backend where we could easily update project data and add new content. We were introduced through a friend’s network and kicked off with a consultation meeting to run through the scope. We received a proposal shortly after, which we compared with four other firms. I selected Lighthouse because they were friendly and cost-effective and they clearly understood our goals. Lighthouse did frontend web development following our design consultation and digital strategy revision. Services included WordPress setup and customization and ongoing support and advice. We’ve landed several important leads since the launch. Our turnover has increased, and we’ve received positive client and peer feedback. Lighthouse has assisted with recent upgrades and we expect to work them in the future.

I hired Lighthouse London to design and develop my company website. I also relied on them to create my logo. My business partner and I presented our initial ideas for the logo. Lighthouse London enhanced those ideas and designed the logo through that collaboration. We then developed plans for the website, and Lighthouse London’s team had it designed and built very quickly. In the first year after the website was complete, I wanted to make some changes. In the event of small changes, they helped me make the changes myself to save on costs, but with more complex tasks, they efficiently addressed them. I’ve received positive comments from people that see my website for the first time. Lighthouse London took the time to understand what my company does and what it stands for. They built a website and a logo that truly reflected my brand. I am very thankful that I chose them. While I am very appreciative of their willingness to learn about my business, their business consulting abilities truly won me over. My interviews with other vendors were very straightforward, with the leadership team promising to build what I wanted. Tom at Lighthouse London heard my ideas and then worked with me to make them better. They pointed me in a different and better direction on multiple occasions.
