Local Web Studio is a web design studio based in Prescot, Merseyside, building premium, editorial quality websites for local businesses across the North West. Most local business websites look the same. A template, a stock photo, a wall of text nobody reads. We do the opposite. Every site we build starts with the business itself: what they do, who they serve, and what makes them worth choosing. Then we design around that, with proper art direction, considered typography and copy written to sound like the owner, not a brochure. We work with trades, food and hospitality, wellbeing, professional services and specialist consultants. Recent work includes Marlborough Builders, a roofing and joinery firm in Prescot, SEND Guidance, an independent SEND consultancy, and Pure Eden Wellbeing, a holistic therapy studio in St Helens. What makes us different is how we start. Rather than pitching with a slide deck, we often build a working concept of a client's site before the first conversation, so they can see exactly what they'd be getting. We take on one or two projects at a time, which means each site gets built properly rather than pushed through a production line. Every build is hand coded on a modern stack (Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind). No page builders, no bloated plugins, no templates. Sites are quick, accessible and built with local search in mind from day one. Beyond the build, we offer care plans covering hosting, updates, content changes and monthly reporting, plus SEO and AI search visibility services so clients show up wherever people are looking. Pricing is published openly on our site, with no hidden costs.
