Mainframe is an independent, London-based CGI and animation studio creating high-end visual content for brands, agencies and organisations worldwide. With over 28 years of experience and 1,735 projects delivered, we combine creative thinking and technical expertise to bring ideas to life through compelling visual storytelling. We create distinctive 3D animation, photorealistic CGI, VFX and motion design for advertising, luxury brands, technology and product campaigns. Our work includes Aston Martin, Harrods, Mulberry, Glenfiddich, Johnnie Walker, Google Pixel, Oppo, Red Bull and BBC2. From concept development through to final delivery, we help brands communicate with clarity, creativity and impact. We apply the same creative approach to translating complex science and technology into clear, engaging visual stories. Our expertise spans pharmaceutical and biotechnology animation, mechanisms of action (MoA), medical devices and scientific visualisation, for clients including Haleon, GSK, Alexion AstraZeneca, Advil, TheraFlu, Polident, ConMed, Fingerpaint and DSM-Firmenich, creating content that connects with healthcare professionals, patients and wider audiences. Our collaborative approach brings together experienced creative directors, designers and technical artists, balancing creative ambition, technical accuracy and production efficiency. Our work for DSM-Firmenich with Fingerpaint Group won a Manny Award, alongside Vega and Telly awards in 2025. From a single film to a scalable suite of content, we work closely with our clients to deliver beautifully crafted visuals that engage audiences and communicate ideas effectively.

We make commercials, product and brand films, launch content and mechanism of action animation, delivered in every cut, ratio and language a campaign needs. Accuracy is our baseline, and we work alongside your existing teams rather than adding layers. Our Panadol work with Haleon tested as the number one concept out of twelve, with 72% aided brand recall and 69% purchase intent.
