About Mamedia Mamedia is the media production company of Mediacollege Amsterdam. Since 2010, Mamedia has been working every six months with multidisciplinary teams of mbo and hbo students on media productions for various clients. Services Mamedia handles client assignments, provides narrowcasting and social media productions, and produces the TV broadcast 'Amsterdammertjes' for Salto1. Approach The organization links practice-oriented education to professional production processes: students go through concept, production, and broadcast under the guidance of teachers and staff. StoryWij zijn Mamedia, het mediaproductiebedrijf van het Mediacollege Amsterdam. Sinds onze start in 2010 werken we elk half jaar met een nieuw, multidisciplinair team van ondernemende mbo- en hbo-studenten aan uiteenlopende mediaproducties voor echte opdrachtgevers. Wat ons drijft is leren door doen: we begeleiden studenten van concept tot aflevering, van narrowcasting tot social media-campagnes. Naast klantwerk produceren we zelf de tv-uitzending 'Amsterdammertjes' voor Salto1 — een oefenveld waar creativiteit en vakmanschap samenkomen. We herinneren ons nog hoe een klein team in korte tijd een live-uitzending rond kreeg: veel improvisatie, veel energie, en een grote trots achteraf. Samen maken we ruimte om te experimenteren, fouten te verwerken en professionele portfolio's op te bouwen.
