As a team at Trek Me Nepal, we are happy to collaborate with One Tech Nepal on our website development and migration from WordPress to a custom setup using Umbraco CMS. As an SEO Analyst & Content Strategist at Trek Me Nepal, I have been closely coordinating with their development team throughout the process, and the experience has been very positive. Being a WordPress user for more than a decade, I initially expected adapting to a new CMS to be challenging, but the transition has been smooth. One of the biggest improvements has been the TipTap editor. Compared to editor we used before in previous versions of Umbraco, TipTap feels far more flexible and easier to work with, especially when formatting and structuring long-form SEO content. A major advantage for our workflow has been the ability to structure headings more properly. With clearly aligned headings created through TipTap, the Dynamic Table of Contents is now much more organized. This has made it easier to structure large articles and manage internal linking in a more precise way. This was the most needed thing for Trek Me Nepal. From an admin perspective, the CMS also feels very flexible. Dedicated sections such as blog photo galleries, FAQ galleries, and other content components can be added within posts based on evolving content needs. During the migration and even now, continuous updates and improvements are being implemented. The One Tech Nepal team has been very responsive in resolving formatting issues, implementing required changes, and providing constant support whenever needed.

What was the objective behind your collaboration?We had a website designed by another agency, but it wasn’t working for me and was completely messed up. I wanted something fresh that truly reflects my brand’s authenticity. My goal was a mobile-friendly website to showcase my products, rank on Google’s first page, and maintain an active presence across all social media platforms.
