Relish Studio
Websites and strategy for nonprofits, B Corps, and purpose-driven organizations.
Most organizations don't have a marketing problem. They have a tactics-before-plan problem. Since 2008, Relish Studio has helped nonprofits, B Corps, and purpose-driven organizations fix that – starting with strategy, then building the websites, content, and brands that bring it to life. Our work is built on the Audience Engagement Cycle (Attract, Connect, Bond, Inspire), our take on the Marketing Hourglass. It maps how people find you, trust you, support you, and bring their friends along for the ride. Every website, message, and campaign we create has a job to do in that cycle. What we do: • Digital strategy, from a quick AEC Assessment to our full Strategy FIRST engagement • Strategic website design and development (WordPress, Duda, and more), with SEO and AI visibility built in • Content strategy and copywriting • Brand positioning and visual identity • Ongoing website Health & Security plans Based in Colorado and working with clients nationwide, we have helped hundreds of organizations do more good. Our co-founder, Stu Swineford, also hosts the Relish THIS podcast and co-wrote Mission Uncomfortable, a book on marketing for mission-driven organizations. Marketing is not a dirty word. Let's prove it together. 7 people in their team

Description A pretty website that nobody can find, understand, or act on is just expensive wallpaper. We build sites that do a job: attract the right people, earn their trust, and make it easy for them to donate, buy, volunteer, or get in touch. Every build starts with strategy, not tactics. We map your audiences and goals using our Audience Engagement Cycle, then design and build around them. Search and AI visibility (SEO and GEO) are built in from day one. What to expect: • Discovery and a clear sitemap and content plan before any design begins • Custom design that fits your brand (no cookie-cutter themes) • Builds on WordPress, Duda, and other platforms, chosen for what your team can actually manage • Redesigns that protect what's already working: redirects, rankings, and AI visibility carried over, with performance at the forefront • Training so your staff can update the site with confidence • Optional ongoing Health & Security plans to keep everything fast, safe, and current Most projects run 2–4 months. We specialize in nonprofits, B Corps, and purpose-driven organizations, with special nonprofit pricing available. Serving the Denver/Boulder area and clients nationwide since 2008.Works in Website Creation (3) Clients in Website Creation (3) Volunteers for Outdoor ColoradoNon-profit | regionalWolf ConnectionNon-profit | regionalCalibre EngineeringConstruction | national
Learn more about Website CreationDescription Most organizations don't have a marketing problem. They have a tactics-before-plan problem. That's why every Relish engagement starts with a roadmap. Our strategy work is built on the Audience Engagement Cycle (Attract, Connect, Bond, Inspire), our take on the Marketing Hourglass. It maps how people find you, trust you, support you, and bring their friends and connections along for the ride. Three ways in: • AEC Assessment: a fast diagnostic of where your marketing is leaking attention, trust, and support. • Relish GPS (Growth and Purpose Strategy): a focused 2–3 week roadmap with clear priorities, messaging direction, and next steps. The fee is credited toward Strategy FIRST. • Strategy FIRST: our full 45–60 day engagement covering audience, messaging, channels, and a website and content plan your team can actually execute. We specialize in nonprofits, B Corps, and purpose-driven organizations, and offer special nonprofit pricing. Serving the Denver/Boulder area and clients nationwide since 2008.Works in Digital Strategy (2) Clients in Digital Strategy (2) Wolf ConnectionNon-profit | regionalCalibre EngineeringConstruction | national
Learn more about Digital StrategyDescription If people can't figure out where to click, they won't. Good UX is the difference between a visitor who bounces and one who donates, buys, signs up, or gets in touch. We design around real people and real goals, not trends. Using our Audience Engagement Cycle, we map who your visitors are, what they need, and the path that turns curiosity into action. Then we design the screens that make that path effortless. What to expect: • A review of your current site and analytics to find where visitors get stuck • Clear user journeys for your key audiences (donors, volunteers, customers, members) • Wireframes and navigation that put the most important actions front and center • Clean, accessible, mobile-first interface design that fits your brand • Designs built to hand off smoothly to development, or built by us end to end We specialize in nonprofits, B Corps, and purpose-driven organizations, with special nonprofit pricing available. Learn more about Ergonomy (UX/UI)Description Your website is never really "done." Plugins age, threats evolve, and small problems turn into expensive catastrophes when nobody's watching. We watch. Our Health & Security plans keep your site fast, safe, and current, so your team can focus on the mission instead of the maintenance. What to expect: • Regular core, theme, and plugin updates, tested so nothing breaks • Security monitoring and hardening • Automated backups with quick restores when things go sideways • Performance checks to keep load times (and search and AI visibility) healthy • A real human to call when you need content updates, fixes, or advice Plans run from a few hundred to about a thousand dollars a month, depending on your site and how much hands-on help you want. We specialize in WordPress and support other platforms as well. Serving nonprofits, B Corps, and purpose-driven organizations since 2008.Works in Website Administration (3) Clients in Website Administration (3) Volunteers for Outdoor ColoradoNon-profit | regionalWolf ConnectionNon-profit | regionalCalibre EngineeringConstruction | national
Learn more about Website AdministrationDescription Nobody reads your website. They scan it, looking for a reason to stay or a reason to leave. Well-crafted content gives them a reason to stick around. Content strategy is deciding what to say, to whom, where, and why, before anyone starts writing. We map your audiences with our Audience Engagement Cycle, figure out what each needs to hear at each stage of their journey, and build a plan your team can actually execute. Then, if you want to stay in your zone of genius, we'll even write it for you. What to expect: • A content audit to find what's working, what's stale, and what's missing • Messaging and content plans mapped to your audiences and goals • Website copy that's scannable, persuasive, and written for both people and search and AI engines • Calls to action that actually get acted on • Campaign, email, blog, and social content that stays on-message across every channel • Brand voice guidelines so your team can keep it going Have drafts already? We also edit and sharpen existing copy, so it keeps your voice and loses the jargon. We specialize in nonprofits, B Corps, and purpose-driven organizations, with special nonprofit pricing available. Serving the Denver/Boulder area and clients nationwide since 2008.Works in Content Strategy (2) Clients in Content Strategy (2) Wolf ConnectionNon-profit | regionalCalibre EngineeringConstruction | national
Learn more about Content StrategyDescription Your logo isn't your brand, but it's often the first handshake. Make it a good one. And if you can't explain why you matter in a sentence or two, no logo will save you. We build brands from the inside out. First, we get clear on who you serve, what you stand for, and why anyone should care. Then we design a visual identity that carries that positioning instead of just decorating it, one that looks like who you actually are, not whatever was trending on a design blog last week. What to expect: • Our discovery process, so everyone's aligned on your audiences, mission, and personality • A clear positioning statement and core messaging that set you apart from the organizations you compete with for attention and support • Original logo concepts (no templates, no stock marks), refined with your feedback • A complete identity system: color palette, typography, and supporting graphic elements • Logo files for every use, from web and social to print and swag • A brand style guide covering both look and voice, so your team, vendors, and volunteers use it consistently Already have a logo you love? We also refresh and modernize existing identities without losing the recognition you've built. We specialize in nonprofits, B Corps, and purpose-driven organizations, with special nonprofit pricing available. Serving the Denver/Boulder area and clients nationwide since 2008.
