StoryToen we in 2021 Stichting Social Film oprichtten, begonnen we met één heldere overtuiging: film kan maatschappelijke verandering versnellen. Als een kleine groep makers en betrokkenen zagen we hoe documentaireverhalen gesprekken openden en mensen anders naar ethische kwesties lieten kijken. Die observatie werd onze missie: creatieve films en documentaires koppelen aan impactcampagnes die duurzame ontwikkeling bevorderen. We werken lokaal, regionaal en nationaal en zetten altijd de stem van betrokken gemeenschappen centraal. Soms vraagt impact creëren doorzettingsvermogen; vaak levert het nieuwe inzichten en kritisch denkvermogen op. Wat ons drijft is de kracht van kunst en cultuur om positieve ontwikkeling voor mens, maatschappij en natuur mogelijk te maken.
