Vandekerckhove&Devos

Merelbeke-Melle, Belgium

Vandekerckhove&Devos is a full-time communications agency and a part-time stress reliever. Since 1978 , we have been delivering unvarnished strategic advice, relevant content and creativity that massages not only the mind, but also the heart. As hybrid entrepreneurs , we dare to think beyond the brief and beyond communication as such. What are our client’s real concerns? Where do they want to be not only next month or next year, but in five years? We take a strategic look at our client’s place in the world and map out a sustainable strategy. In short, we think before we open our mouths. Originally founded by Piet Vandekerckhove, our agency is now run by two partners: Michel Devos and Nicolas De Winter. Two direct lines for our clients to vent about their hunger, ideas, dreams and even nightmares. You want your message to get through. And stick. The glue we use for that: creativity that never loses sight of the content. And our distinctive team plays a part in that. What you can expect: 16 talented communications specialists who throw themselves into their work with enthusiasm every day. On their desks: razor-sharp ideas and loads of experience in business transformation, strategic marketing & communications, branding, concept and product development, tactical campaigns, design, typography, storytelling, social messaging and digital marketing. In other words: as a client, you are in active but very good hands.

In my previous function I was marketing manager of the Bekaert Building Products. Together with Vandekerckhove&Devos we created the launch campaing of the new DRAMIX fibres 4D and 5D. We also rebranded the excisting fibres into 3D to bring it in line with the new products. The campaing dealt with the multiple items of a product launch, starting from new packaging to a commercial toolbox for sales and online promotion. The cooperation with V&D was excellent. What was most appreciated and contributed to the succes was the open mind of the people of V&D. They really took the time tounderstand the business and to learn the DNA of the company. This way the campaign was innovative, modern but still regognizable for our customers. I can only strongly recommend V&D.

Vandekerckhove - Devos has been a great and valuable partner to IBC Belgium (part of Barry Callebaut) . From our assignments to develop new product concepts to helping us create valuable brand content and communication: their team has been an integral part of our growth.
