Finding an agency is hard, choosing the right one is even harder. If you’re reading this article, then it means you have a potential agency you want to work with, but you’re not sure if it’s the right pick.<\/p>\n

This article will help you make your decision: we created a tool to help you choose the right agency in minutes.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Marketing’s volatility<\/h2>\n

Marketing is volatile. As digitalisation is becoming more mature, it\u2019s also becoming more complex. And with increasing complexity, marketing expertise is becoming more diverse.<\/p>\n

This leaves companies in a complex environment, where they could be working on e-commerce<\/a> in 2020, and on an influencer marketing<\/a> campaign in 2021. Today, finding relevant partners according to a company\u2019s current project is a necessity, but it’s also hard.<\/p>\n

Defining your needs<\/h2>\n

If you\u2019re familiar with our product<\/a>, you know that the key to finding relevant partners relies on properly defining your needs: the budget, the skills, the expertise necessary to complete your project, as well as the industry you work in. Those are all criteria to consider when you make a selection of agencies<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, at the end of the day, you’ll have to choose one agency and say no to the other ones. So what are the criteria to consider in order to make that choice?<\/p>\n

Pricing is not everything<\/h2>\n

When an agency presents a quote, the first element we tend to look at is the price. That’s normal, as you want to have the best service that’s possible to get, for the best price.<\/p>\n

But pricing is far from being the only and the most relevant point of attention to consider.<\/p>\n

If you think about it, you’ll be collaborating with this agency for quite some time, on a project that will impact your company, and you shouldn’t make your choice only based on an agency’s pricing.<\/p>\n

So we created this Google sheet \ud83d\udc47\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

It’s an Agency Scoreboard that lists the 19 criteria to consider before you choose your agency. For each of them, you can give a score from 1 to 5. Once your sheet is completed, each agency you consider working with will have a score, allowing you to better compare them without only looking at pricing.<\/p>\n
