online course, and an equal amount said no.&nbsp; France (55.2%) and Germany (53.6%) had the most participants in comparison with the Netherlands and Spain who responded more no\u2019s with 52.8% and course\/training<\/strong> and of that total, 27% of them didn\u2019t spend a dime.&nbsp; In France and Spain, the largest percentage of online course participants paid less than 100\u20ac however, France was also the country with the highest percentage of participants paying 500\u20ac or more with 29%.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow countries 92.2% of participants said that following the online course was worth their time and money<\/strong>. Amongst its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/coursera-most-popular-online-classes#google-it-support-professional-certificate-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">30 most popular courses<\/a> around the world in 2021, 15 of them are related to IT, coding, and data and only 7 of them to business\u2026 According to world trends, <strong>Europeans aren\u2019t so much into what\u2019s popular and are more business-driven than into technology.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is revealed as much in Udemy&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/research.udemy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Q4_2022_Learning_Index_Infographic.pptx.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Q4 Workplace Learning Index<\/a>, detailing how, for example, topic consumption in fields like <strong>product development have risen by 160% in France<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another popular topic in the past year that reflects current times, is personal well-being. Courses on this different kind of subject have appeared in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inc.com\/jessica-stillman\/class-central-best-online-courses-2020.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">the top 10 most popular lists<\/a> of many online training platforms this past year. However, this was only the second most popular answer in France (27.54%) and the Netherlands (20.37%). In Germany, participants were recommended a topic from a friend or colleague (20.9%).
