In 2007 when nexus24 first formed in Edinburgh not a lot of people knew what the name actually meant. Then a certain mobile phone came along and it was a bit more obvious. Cheers Google. That name put simply represents what we’re all about. Nexus (latin for connection) 24 (hours). Through strategic marketing with a bit of creative thinking we’re bringing businesses closer to their audience, ensuring that their message is visible. All day, every day.But in order to do that you may need to stand back, look at it from the outside and consider the possibilities. It’s easy to have blinkers on when it’s your business. At nexus24 we don’t like shades of grey (and we’re not talking Pantone numbers). We strive to work side-by-side with our clients, understanding marketing goals and objectives as if we were united. Throwing down any customer/supplier barriers, being upfront and open about everything we do. Working any other way is just pointless as far as we’re concerned. So where did we come from? nexus24 was founded by Graeme Hogge, a creative marketing professional who’s worked in advertising and design for over 15 years. Prior to setting up nexus24 he’d been crafting away in the studios of several marketing agencies working on public and private sector campaigns. Producing creative for the public and private sector, on some of the UK’s top brands, in various market sectors. From energy to entertainment. In 2006, frustrated with seeing a lot of below par marketing produced for a number of businesses (who couldn’t afford to use the bigger agencies) he decided to do something about it. He began hatching a plan to set up a company that could fill this void, offering high quality creative and marketing advice that was more affordable for SME’s.What's changed since then? Pretty much everything. But some things never will. 9 years down the road, as new communication technologies have arrived, marketing as a whole has been somewhat revolutionised. We've embraced these changes, continuously adapting and learning. But our culture and values will always remain the same. We've retained most of our original business whilst continuing to expand - gaining new, larger clients across the UK. Some won by tender, but many through recommendation. Our staff numbers and office size has grown a bit too. All these changes and improvements are made to ensure one thing that should never change - to keep building great business relationships.
