We also managed social media for the Band Aid 30 charitable campaign. Our Consumer Team manages the social media across multiple channels for several high-profile food brands, including Sun-Pat Peanut Butter, Hartley's Jelly, Dream and Hartley's Jam.  Although we are UK-based, we run international campaigns and communicate with many of our clients almost entirely remotely.

Project made for Hain Daniels in the Food industry for a B2C audience.Hain Daniels, which owns one of the UK’s best loved FMCG brands, Hartley’s Jelly, asked OST to help raise awareness of their full range of products, including jelly pots and to-make jelly, using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest. Our strategy for building engagement and awareness across multiple social media channels has involved a process of community management, social advertising, influencer engagement (and outreach), engagement activities (e.g. competitions) and detailed measurement.Results within 4 months included: - 12,000+ Facebook fans - 5,000+ new Twitter followers - 4,000+ competition entries - 8,685 comments on a single Facebook post (plus 28,000 Likes and 4,000 shares) - 1,179 re-tweets of the Back to School competition

Checkit - B2B Content Marketing

Project made for Elektron Technology Plc in the Food industry for a B2B audience.In 2014 Electron Technology plc. launched new product, called Checkit, aimed at improving food safety in large restaurant chains and hotels by digitising the recording of hygiene records. They asked OST to develop and implement a digital marketing strategy.OST worked on Checkit in 2014/15. From the outset we quickly developed a programme of social media engagement, advertising and content marketing, which rapidly built awareness of the new product within a very niche market.Results included:- Generated 2,000+ webinar registrations and white paper downloads, including data capture.- Built a targeted Twitter following of 2,800 including almost all of the leading food safety media and consultants in the UK, generating 800+ engagements per month.- Attracted over 730 niche food safety experts to join a closed LinkedIn Group, owned by Checkit.- Drove around 50% of total website traffic organically by publishing high-quality, weekly blog posts.- Generated consistently high engagement with industry influencers.- Secured high-level leads at brands such as Heinz, Nestle, McDonalds, EAT, KFC, Morrisons, Iceland and Best Western.
